Spires Junior Netball Summer Camp at Beacon Park Tennis Courts Post Pic

Lichfield Spires Netball Club returned to its home at Beacon Park Tennis Courts on Monday for the second week of their junior summer camp.

This is the first netball the club has been able to offer since lockdown began after a huge demand to throw the first ball.

Sian Lowe, coach and co-founder of Lichfield’s community netball club said: “It’s so great to get the girls back doing some form of netball albeit with social distancing measures.

“We received so much positive feedback from parents after the first week, and it’s wonderful for the girls to see each other and train together again. “

Sian said everyone was really excited to return to home ground on the amazing and recently refurbished Beacon Park Tennis Courts.

“Having three full-sized netball courts and up to date facilities will make a huge difference to what we can offer and achieve for netball in the area,” explained Sian.

Lichfield Spires Netball Club hopes that with the courts now re-opened there will soon be a return to some form of netball for walking netballers and adult players as well.
