Beacon Park Tennis is proud to offer a vibrant community coaching programme to local residents.

The coaching team has been part of the amazing Beacon Park Tennis journey since it began.

Some four years ago, the coaches started the Tennis For Free coach-led activities. During this time we have coached over 1,500 people at the site.

Now that we have stunning new courts we can extend the coaching offer to all ages and abilities. Tennis for Free will remain, but there is now also a fee-paying coaching programme in place to help us grow our sustainable tennis facility.

The sessions and coaching team will be overseen by our Head Coach Tom Slater.

Our various coaching sessions

A varied programme of fun fundamental skills, game and activities. Plus you get a free racket, balls and T-shirt when you book for a 6 week block!

There are 2 options, age 5-8 Mini Tennis Red or 9-11 Mini tennis Orange and Green. Mini Tennis is specifically designed for children to learn on different size courts using rackets and tennis balls appropriate to their age/size.

For the older children (age 11-16) we have what we call yellow ball sessions. These are essentially sessions using the full courts and normal tennis balls.

LTA Youth Programme is designed to get children interested and enjoying playing tennis.
